Default Vibrations over 50 MPH

I just bought a 2005 CR-V SE. I notice a vibration at 50 + mph. In fact I don't even need to look at the speedometer to know I am at 50MPH. I feel the vibration in the steering wheel and seat. I can't see my hand shaking but I can feel it. I know there have been similiar discussions. Is it possible this is related to the tires? It came with Bridgestone Duellers. Should I have the dealer check the balance and pressure? Or could this be related to something else?
Thanks!!

Sounds like a wheel balancing issue. A tire weight could have fallen off or is missing.

I purchased a 2005 CRV SE about three weeks ago and have not experienced any vibration at 50 mph. Well… maybe from the stereo, but that vibration is there even when at a stand still.

I would bet that a wheel weight has probably fallen off one of the front wheels and is out of balance. I am sure your service department or a good tire shop can solve that problem for you relatively quickly.

Enjoy your new car!!

First, check your tire pressure, all four wheels. Then if you still feel the vibration, which you probably will, get all four wheels balanced. Then if you still have the vibration, get the tires rotated from front to back. If it disappears, one of your wheels is bent or the tire has a defect. Doing it systematically, in this order, you can get to the root of the problem through elimination. I once had a bent rim and had to leave it on the rear in order to avoid vibration in the steering. Running it in the rear the vibration wasn't noticeable.

Either that or your tires are inflated differently. Check the PSI's. (I had the same problem and this is how I solved it).

vibration means you lost or never had proper weights on the tires, that is an old way of saying get your wheels balanced. not aligned

If the wheel isn't shaking left and right, it could be a flat spot on the tires, but that should smooth out after driving for a while.
