Is the Element sold anywhere else besides North America?

Although this is a Texas forum, maybe you should still mention where 'yer at', as they say. . . . You could be in Slovenia, for all we know.

I'm guessing you'd like to use it on a rural postal route ? ?

First, read the Owner's Manual, then SEARCH, your Internet is STILL WAY faster than mine.

Default RHD Honda Element

A Honda Element would be the PERFECT rural route delivery vehicle! (For those that don't know, the Postal Service provides vehicles to City Carriers but not Rural Carriers, who are expected to provide their own)

Unfortunately, my extensive search of the internet turned up nothing... well, except for a company that will import them from Japan for $30,000! I forgot the link, but you can Google "Japanese import Honda Element".

Most of the carriers get a dual control conversion installed, or buy a true RHD vehicle. Unfortunately, Subaru stopped importing their RHD Legacy in 1999, and Jeep stopped making the Cherokee. That leaves only the "Postal Unit" Wrangler, produced since 2003.... and entirely too small for all the parcels rural carriers deliver in these days of Ebay.

There is a company that will convert a Jeep Liberty to TRUE RHD.

Or just get the dual control kits for any Jeep product... they're easy to find on the net.

Alas, I cannot even find a dual control kit for the Element

Default right drive element

check out http://morgandualcontrols.com/ and you'll find that they produce a right drive conversion for honda elements (praise the Lord). I agree that the honda element would be "the perfect" rural delivery vehicle. furthermore, i plan on contacting the conversion company and getting particulars.

Yes, Virginia, God is smiling on rural carriers this day!
