Default JDM B20b CKF bypass????

i got a jdm b20b motor to replace my blown stock motor... and if u might not know.. u can use a jdm obd2 motor with a usdm ecu.. reason being, jdm Bseries motors dont use a CKF. therefore ... the Civic and Integra guys have figured out a bypass, by basically cloning the CYP signal..tricking the ecu into thinking a CKF is wired in....... BUT!!! my ? is will this work on a CR-V if I just locate the correct wires using a wiring diagram????????

P.S. just wondering if anyone new about that?????

Can't see why it would be any different on a CRV to a Civic or Integra?

Any chance your engine was shipped by Roadrunner Freight? I just loaded a JDM B20B into a Florida-bound truck a week or so ago. A week before that, I saw a JDM D15B, and there's another D15B in the warehouse right now. These are the first JDM Honda motors we've shipped since I've been there.

I had posted some info in a previous thread about the bypass trick I had found. Link to the thread below, did this on mine and worked perfectly.

In theory, doing the TB and WP while the engine is out should be easier. When you do the adjustment won't really matter.

Just make sure you get a B20Z motor and not a B20B. You'll lost 20 hp if you get a -B.

Concerning the engine mounts, I don't remember seeing any poly mounts for the CR-V.
