Any chance your engine was shipped by Roadrunner Freight? I just loaded a JDM B20B into a Florida-bound truck a week or so ago. A week before that, I saw a JDM D15B, and there's another D15B in the warehouse right now. These are the first JDM Honda motors we've shipped since I've been there.

i also just swapped in a new jdm b20b and having the same problem right now... i either gotta bypass it or swap in a new usdm oil pump

i just spun a rod in my crv ill be getting a jdm motor to put in this is my first jdm motor swap. do you guys have any info that would help! should i just do the timing belt and water put before also should i do a valve adjustment up front? I'm going to do the motor mounts while it is out do you know what poly mounts can fit id need to find civic or integra ones !

In theory, doing the TB and WP while the engine is out should be easier. When you do the adjustment won't really matter.
Just make sure you get a B20Z motor and not a B20B. You'll lost 20 hp if you get a -B. Concerning the engine mounts, I don't remember seeing any poly mounts for the CR-V.
