How to reset maintenance indicator?
My maintenance indicator is on, B16, and I have "1" and "6" done already, and oil is "15%", so I like to have the oil changed for my next visit to dealer but I like to cancel the indicator before I go there, how to do that? thx

the instructions are in the owners manual - pg 260 in '07 manual - it may take a couple tries to get it to work, but keep at it and you will succeed.
for those w/out a manual -- reset the maintenance minder as follows: Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position. Press the Select/Reset knob repeatedly until the engine oil life is displayed. Press the Select/Reset knob for about 10 seconds. The information display shows the resetmode initial display (as shown in manual). Select the ‘‘OIL LIFE’’ indicator by turning the Select/Reset knob. The display begins to blink. Push the same knob to enter this setting. The engine oil life and the maintenance item code(s) will begin to blink. Push the Select/ Reset knob to reset. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to ‘‘100.’’

The one thing the manual isn't clear on is you have to HOLD the button until the oil life resets to 100%. Just pressing it doesn't do it.

How do I read the Owner's Manual?
I am not really the owner, since I financed. Should the bank come over and read it to me? I am scared, there are so many words in it, and stuff. Please, someone come over and read it to me. P.S. That was sarcasm, just in case people were wondering.
