Default spark plug gap

Hello all,
I was about to replace the plugs on my 97 crv, but bought the car used, and, as it happens, without owners' manual. Would someone kindly let me know what the gap is supposed to be?
Thanks, Paddy

It's also on those stickers inside the hood, along with the correct model number of the spark plugs, valve clearances, ignition timing, etc.

Paddy, if you don't have the owner's manual, the dealer will get one in for you, and there's several 'exceptions to the rule' that aren't published in the manual. You need to change the Dual Pump Fluid in the rear differential if it's over 50,000 km, and the valves should be adjusted on the same schedule.

Thanks for that. I plan on changing the rear diff fluid soon. I've tried getting a manual from the dealer; my salesman kept telling me he'd send one to me as dealership is about a 1 1/2 hour drive, but he never did send it. Guess I should have escalated it to a manager, but I just blew it off. This was about 3 years ago, so I doubt I have much recourse now. I was thinking of just picking up a Haynes book... what do you think?

The official Honda service manual is sold by Helminc.com, and while expensive, is much better then the Haynes/Chilton guides. You can also order an Owners Manual through Helminc.com.

The North American toll-free number is 1-800-782-4356 for owner's manuals and the Helm Bible version.

My 2000 CR-V EX is 1.1mm, and when I bought the correct NGK plugs (listed in the owner's manual), they came pre-gapped to that width.
