Default Reset your maintenance light

For those of you that are to lazy to do a search, here is your cheat cheat!! Step #1Turn off your engine. Step#2 Press and hold the select/reset button on the dashboard instrument panel. It's the one located next to your fuel gauge and your odometer. Step #3 While holding the select/reset button down, turn your ignition to ON, but do not start the engine. Step #4 Hold the select/reset button in for 10 seconds, until the indicator light goes away. There will be a $50 shop charge for using this info. ;]

And for 1st Gen owners take your ignition key and insert it into the slot on the gauge cluster to the left and below the zero on your speedometer dial.

I ignore my light and follow my own schedule, it's only going by the mileage and nothing else is being considered like the GEN 3's do..

"The big yellow one is the sun!"

It is well documented in the OWner's Manual.

Agreed. They added some neat stuff to the newer generations but for my 2 cents, the gen 1 is the best compromise.

With TPMS out, I think I may run this one until it is junk yard time.

Ha. I'm running my V forever as well, because they eliminated the manual transmission...
