Question Help, CRV stereo pinout? where's the Ignition sense?

Hi, my wife has a 2007 CRV and I just recently bought a Nokia CK-7W to install in it.

On the weekend I had the stereo out and was checking the pinout with a multimeter, but couldn't find the ignition sense wire. I found the ground, and +12v but there were at least 3 other wires that had +6V when I turned the key to ACC. I expected the ignition sense (acc) to have 12v. One of these was marked acc on the stereo itself. When I turned the key completely off, these wires still had a very small voltage (~0.16v) across them.

Is this normal?

I'm planning on using a relay to disconnect the ignition sense (acc) from the stereo when the mute cable from the CK-7W goes to ground but I want to make sure it's the correct cable that I'm using.

Anyone have a correct pin-out? or wire colors for this?
Sorry I searched but didn't find anything where someone was doing this with a relay like me.

A faster route would be to use an "add a fuse" it's good up to 10amp (I believe), they cost $5 at the parts store, and there's no cutting involved.

Basically it plugs into any ACC switched fuse, then you put 2 fuses in (1 for the circuit you pulled, and the other for the tail going off of it to your accessory.

If you're not going to go crazy (whistles innocently) with adding electronics, this is a really good way to do things because it voids no warranties and is completely removable.

If you still want to go for the stereo, someone will know (and probably respond soon). Anyone who's done an aftermarket system should be able to tell you.

yeah that'll work for detecting when the acc is switched on but won't allow me to disconnect the stereo without disconnecting everything on the acc circuit.

I really need to isolate the acc feed into the stereo so that I can get the relay to disconnect that when the mute wire (from ck-7w) goes to ground.

Crap; I missed that from your first post; sorry

I don't know how much they run nowadays, but I'd done a male/female adapter on the stereo on my gen 2 originally, so I could cut what I wanted and not worry about messing up. I THINK that was $30 +ship for the pair . . .

This is what I could dig up otherwise:

Nothing new on isntalldr.com though.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

EDIT! I applaud you for installing handsfree . . . it's the law almost everywhere but very few people USE it . .

When I get home, I'll take a look at the service manual to see if it's got it.

Is that the actual manual of the Navigator system for CR-V 07? Is the system of any brand (Alpine, Panasonic etc.), model number? Do you have the full pinout and the circuit diagram of the unit or do you know where I can get one?

Just to let you guys know that I have successfully installed the Nokia CK-7W into my wife's Honda CRV 2007 model.

Had to use a relay to turn off the ignition sense (ACC) when the mute wire from ck-7w went to ground.

All in all, works great.

And yes, cderalow you were correct. For some reason my little tester could not touch the wire from the back side of the plug and I was scared to unplug the radio in case it needed security pin or something.

Anyway, I unplugged and tested from the plug side and white wire 14 was correct.

I'll post some pics later.. Thanks.
