Default 2001 Honda CRV dipstick tube

Does anyone know where I can purchase a dipstick tube for a 2001 Honda CRV? Honda no longers sells them "unless you purchase the entire engine," which I don't need.

Wait... You mean the TUBE that comes out of the block? Salvage yard. Should be an easy score.

Got your PM. Try this link and expand your search. Someone's got to have one.

Maybe fellow member Ortwein. He loves PM's for parts!

Default 2001 Honda CRV dipstick tube

I contacted Honda of Bowie, Maryland, and they went over and above my expectations to locate this part (11111-PR3-300 - oil level pipe). They located it in a matter of an hour by contacting the Honda New Jersey office and asking that they look up this specific part number (which everyone else said didn't exist).

Thank you for your concerns.

That's amazing.

I'd probably use Loctite Weld, or Plastic Steel to 'weld' it in place.

Hi I have the same problem with my 01 crv ( dipstick tube) came out and is lost) can you tell me for sure that that is the part number cause the honda dealer says that part only fits a civic and a del sol? (# 11111-PR3-300 - oil level pipe)

B18B1 and B20 share the same engine block.

I just checked on an online Acura part catalog, 11111-PR3-300 is the right part #.

You can check by clicking on the link, it is #3.
