I know the size and bolt pattern will work, but will the offset? Anyone running them that might have pictures? And finally, any idea if the Odyssey wheels are too heavy (ruining acceleration and mileage come to mind). Thanks! |

With a -55 offset, it seems they'd sit pretty deep inside the wheel wells. Isn't the CR-V offset like -40 or -45?
Oh well, nothing some spacers can't fix. |

My 17" Acura rims are a 55 degree offset and I'm running 215-55-17 rubber on them with no problems with rubbing. I also have no spacers in my set up.
Looks like to me the Ody wheels would work just fine.

Thanks guys. Does anyone have any idea where I can find the weight of the Ody wheels, barring actually weighing them (since I don't have them in hand)?

I don't know the exact weight of what you plan to do, but here are my numbers. My 15" steelies with rubber weighed 24 pounds. The 17" Acura rims I now have on weigh 29 pounds each with rubber. So in my case, I have more rolling weight with my alloys.
Good luck.

Not specifically what you are looking for, but there is an article in the Feb 2007, Honda Service News on proper lug nuts for the Ody that may interest you. Starts on page 5.

Trackstar,
Have you considered the Element wheels? I replaced my steelies with the Element EX alloy wheels and they look great. Fit is not an issue as the specs for the G2 CRV and the Element is essentially the same. I bet you can find some cheap wheels on EBay (where I got mine). |
