Default How many people have left their sunroof open and ...

...had it rain... more than once.

In other words, how likely is it that I will do it again?

P.S. Except for soaked seats... doesn't seem to be any damage... actually it was a fairly light rain

Haven't yet in the rain but when it was fairly new (hadn't had a sunroof in 13 years) I left it open when I was on a fishing trip in AR and came back to find the car filled with leaves, seeds, etc. dropped from trees. Everyone makes mistakes .

I have never had that problem..when I park in my Acura, I make it a habit to check that all windows including moonroof are closed before getting out the car

I fid that honda made thoses Fake oops loo alike leather trim on our seats for that purpose when leaving the roof opened. I find that the ends of the seats get wet not all, but I never had a problem due to the fact I got a visor can keep open till a certain limit.....

mainemanx, I think it is unlikely that you will do it again.

I left my moonroof open on my Accord when it was new, forgot it and those Atlanta showers... I had to put a big plastic bag over my seat on way to work. (double ) Never did it again.

Haven't done it on my V yet, but back in England I left my company car in an airport carpark for 14 days... in October.... had about a 1/2 inch of water in the floorpan when I got back... that car never was the same...

Since then I am fairly paranoid about checking it.

Never had a car with a moonroof. Did it once with a convertible, though...
