Fixes: TSB 07-021:Moan or Groan From Rear Differential in Cold Weather
Moan or Groan From Rear Differential in Cold Weather Issue description: Moaning or groaning comes from rear differential when making a sharp or tight turn at low speeds. Happens more often when weather is cold. Why does this happen? The cooler temperature changes causes the rear differential clutch material to deviate from its normal working function. What to do? If this happens to you consistently, bring it to the dealer for evaluation and fixing of the rear clutch pack.

I thought the 07 was mechanically very similar to the 06....so why would this only apply to the new models ??
just curious.

Geez, my VIN ends with 35230. Bought last winter but did not notice any noise from the rear end. What should I do? Maybe I'll wait until next winter to find out.

Where have I been ?? Out driving my '06 I guess. I am not as "up" on the new model as I was last year. Before I purchased mine, I was quite knowledgable, but that was a while ago, and the model year changed....sorry.
For pennance I'll go read my manual 3 times and rotate my tires.
