Default Black on Black AWD EX-L with Navi

Just got it on Saturday from Autowest Fremont in California. Price before tax+tags was $27,241 which I thought was a great quote versus the $28,595 MSRP. I'll be adding some other things after buy from college hills honda. I got suckered into purchasing the Honda Care for 1600 (said that I could only opt for the plan at time of purchase) because I was scared of it being the first 3rd gen, the navi, AWD and the whole AWD ordeal people were reporting. But I saw on College Hills Honda selling the same coverage I got at Fremont for about half.... I'll probably cancel my current Honda Care and purchase the same one at CHH.

Been told that got mistaken for a luxury vehicle and I've gotten a few looks from the ladies

Thanks to everyone for posting and keeping me informed, love my new purchase!

Congrats!

So what accessories are you going to purchase from CHH? I would love to see a black CR-V with a roof rack, spoiler, and exhaust before I decide on buying them soon.

I was planning on purchasing the side body moldings, chrome exhaust and front mud gaurds. I'm still on the fence about the fog lights, wondering if I could do it I was thinking about the roof rack, but I doubt I'd use it. I was also thinking about get side steps, I don't really need those, maybe later.

It's ridiculous how much a dealer will charge for the installation of accessories. The chrome exhaust costs $38 plus a few bucks for shipping from CHH and requires you to screw in ONE bolt....the deal was going to charge me $100 after installation

They charged me roughly $680 for fog lights installed (arg!!!). Hopefully you're capable of doing it yourself.

Mother of god.

Why did you do that?

Ouch! on the fog light install.

Everyone can do this one themselves. Polish the stainless steel exhaust tip. Better than chrome and free. Thanks to carbuff2 for the great tip.

Works on gen1's too!

Autopia has a guide on the exhaust polishing:
http://autopia.org/forum/guide-detai...-car-trim.html

It definitely won't shine like chrome, but I may try it. My exhaust has imperfections on it so I don't know if it will polish it away.
