Default Master power door lock switch wiring

Hi,

My 03 CRV does not have power door lock switch.

I've got 1 from a Civic. Can anyone provide the wiring diagram to get this done? I see that the civic door lock switch has 5 wires. any info, Thanks.

Thanks a lot Ragnarok.

I'll have this printed out to be able to study the wirings. Is this for the older variant CRV or the Gen2?

From the info in his signature (2003 2.0L CRV) the CR-V is not a US model, so it may not have come with power door locks.

Oh it does come with power door locks mate... just not the door lock/unlock switch integrated into the driver's door latch... and good old honda dealer's here are not yet selling the door latches. I'll have to make do with a civic door latch that i got.

The civic door latch power door lock switch has 5 wires. 1 ground, 2 and 3 connected, 4 and 5 connected.

When toggle to unlock 1-3 connects and the connection between 2-3 is broken.

When toggle to lock 1-4 connects and the connection between 4-5 is broken.

Can anybody explain what the other 2 wires are for. Thanks.
