Default p1457

Hi,
malfunction code for my CRV 2002 EX ,according to my mechanic is P1457.
After performing evap system tests (ALLDATA database) he found that a problem could be with EVAP two way/bypass solenoid valve. But when he tried to order this part from Honda, it appeared, that by Honda , there is no such part in CRV with that name There are two valves that listed on Honda parts site here - http://www.slhondaparts.com/browse.a...ViewParts=true

8 - VALVE, CANISTER VENT SHUT
11 - MODULE, FUEL VENT ,

and the 11 has two modifications . And that is it. No signs of EVAP two way/bypass solenoid valve. Now he is baffled, suspected an error in ALLDATA and sending me to the dealer.
Any thoughts on that? Is it just different words to describe the same part or his ALLDATA is screwed up?

OK, I found Service Bulletin 02-026, that describes my possible problem and has part number on it -
http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/at...achmentid=2160
So, according to this, EVAP two-way/bypass solenoid valve corresponds to part 17380-S5A-A32 which is number 11 on a picture from Honda parts site from my first post and mystically named as MODULE,FUEL VENT.

Actually, this part in TSB mentioned as "P/N 17380-S5A-A32, H/C 7083124".
What is the second number, marked as H/C ? Should I mention it along with P/N when place an order ?

Hose clamp?

Is there any chance someone else filled the gas tank over the first shut off and just set the code?

I do not remember to fill gas tank over. Only unusual event that happened recently was automatic car wash and as a part of it - vehicle bottom wash. Could it be the cause for this?

Even opening the gas cap with the engine running will sometimes set a code . Not sure which one.

From looking back at my earlier post, I found the link reverts back to the Search page and not the page showing the threads.
http://www.hondasuv.com/stg/viewtopi...ighlight=p1457 shows mention of checking for vacum leaks and
bad/disconnected/corroded grounds -
but didn't your mechanic already check that?

I hope he did. I had only brief conversation with him today. All that I know he went through test procedure, that is set for P1457 code in alldata.
And it is probably worth to mention that he reset this code twice last week before I brought my car to him. So, it cannot be fuel cap issue.

I probably will take chances and replace this valve. What is the best online place to buy Honda parts?

See blueiedgod's post. He says you can give them his name, Dave, and get a good deal.
