I moved this to the CR-V::Clinical Rounds folder as you're more likely to get a response here.

Real honda radiators are insanely expensive, however, some of the aftermarket ones are not very good quality. I would remove it and take it to a local radiator repair shop and get their opinion before buying a new one.

I believe the CRV radiatiors have plastic end tanks on them like the rest of the Hondas so it will not be repairable..

Define "Insanely" expensive?

$247

When my Civic Si Radiator was punched by road debris, Fair Honda of Danbury, CT ( www.fairhondapartsforyou.com ) sold me one for $200.

I'd imagine a rebuilt radiator would be cheaper, but $200-$250 for brand new one is not insanley expensive, IMHO.

Helms manual is the best for fixing your Honda.

SEARCH. Answers are already waiting for you.

One guy got a rad off eBay and it turned out to be a real OEM Honda rad with the HONDA name ground off.
