Looks neat and reminds me of Pismo Beach, California.

Nope, haven't been there (yet?)...
We are driving up from Sydney to Brisbane this easter so will pass the area. Might have a peek (although our CRV is 1 week old and not sure if the missus would like me to go trail-bashing just yet...)
Hopefully we can find some easily accessible beach for a bit of a try....

No, haven't been there (since it's closer to Sydney than it is to Brisbane). But if we ever head down there for a roadtrip, we'll be sure to drop by!

This Easter we're catching the ferry over to Stradbroke Island for the long weekend. That's when I will christen my V to some beach driving. Should be interesting, will be sure to take lots of photos and post them on here afterwards.

Same here, a mate of mine has a Range Rover Discovery and he suggested we should buddy up and take our two cars off-the-road (beach and simple trails)....
But for now...the busy roads of Sydney and braving peak hour traffic...

I've read about it and plan to go there in the easter holiday.
They say that it's one of the biggest sand dune in Australia.

Went there in my little Suzuki Sierra about 7 years ago. Had only about 10-15psi in tyres. But once your on the beach no probs, but getting to the beach is another story. Pick your track and go, if you stop you start to bog down.
