Default CR-V Offroad at Uwharrie, NC

I was looking around some Subaru Forester forums for a bit, and found a meet about 2 hours from me in the Uwharrie Mountains of NC. I decided to go and expected so see quite a few Forester's but it ended up being me, an 08 FJ, an older 4Runner and 1 stock Forester. The trail we went on was supposed to be Easy but ended up being a bit too much for the CR-V and Forester about 6 miles into the trail. We took plenty of pictures and a couple videos so enjoy (also note most of these aren't mine so thank you obesecat55, yelnats_J, and carljwnc from Subaru Forums for taking them)

my favorite first

My wife would never let me get our alloys dirty in those mud holes!

Great pictures...

Looks like fun!

But the off-roading days for my V have been long gone.

That is nice mud.
Your V would do much better if it had tires more suited to play in the mud.

+1 to this comment.

Nice pics and vid! Don't see alot of offroading pics on the forum as much these days, good to see some action like this once again! We haven't taken our gen 1 offroad for ages due to lack of time really.

What rims and tyres are those? They look good.

It looks like you had a lot of fun!

When you reached the CR-Vs limit, did the other guys allow you to ride with them or did you head back?

They're off a 2003 Odyssey and are extremely tough. I had to ride on a rim for about a mile and didn't do any damage. The tires are Michelin X-Radials. When I say they're from an Odyssey people laugh and expect it to look really stupid but it actually does look good. No tire rub at all either

Well we couldn't really leave a vehicle on the trail because other people were going by. I didn't really wanna leave my V' behind anyway, I had enough fun for the day. There's a trip planned to Brown Mountain which is supposed to be no problem for the V' or a Forester.

The guy driving it went too fast over a good sized bump and just smashed a big piece of the under body off. Luckily, it was just for looks.
