I'll have to search those discussions for the answer to that, I remember that point being brought up. But the Honda tech said "just live with the light".
Remember there are
TWO TPMS lights, one for low pressure in a tire, the other is a system check.

In looking for that other information just now, I've found that Honda systems will NOT SET THE LIGHT as long as the OE sensors are out of range of the car (60 - 80 feet). So if you don't care about the
TPMS system on your winter tires, get regu;lar valves and store the Summer tires at your Mother-in-Law's in the next county.
Oh, and the trigger pressure is supposed to be 28 PSI. Honda HAS has calibration problems so if your low pressure light goes on and you have 28 PSI in there, you can bring it in for a reflash at no charge.
(Still lookin' for the functionality issue...)
