    Default headlight adjustment

I adjusted my headlights today because my new springs lowered the front more than the rear which brought the beam too low. in adjusting the beams I found that there is a very sharp cutoff, if adjusted correctly it's possibly sharp enough for HID's. I would recommend any CR-V owner to pull up to a wall and mess around with your headlight aiming. I haven't touched mine since the vehicle was purchased in 01, and I wish I would've adjusted them sooner. Because, the sharp cutoff is one of the reasons I bought the CR-V, and now I have that! I just thought something was different about the early (97-98 ) Gen1's.

Anyone have any experience with HID's on a Gen1? I know that hahajoey had them, but he's no longer a CR-V guy.

I just have factory lamps, but I've used fridge magnets on my (steel) garage door to help aiming them depending on load (holiday time).

First, read the Owner's Manual, then SEARCH, your Internet is STILL WAY faster than mine.

LOL at Curly, at least the magnets now have some real use. BTW, I don't have a honda service manual yet, can anybody post the section for aiming '04 headlights and foglights ? thx.
