    Default Biggest tires on CRV?

I have been wondering this for awhile, but don't frequent this forum as much as I should.
For over a year now I have been running 31x10.5R15 Pro comp Muds on AR wagonwheels 15x8 on my '99 CRV (4wd of course ). I opted for no lift right now since I would have still had to modify a few things. Don't get me wrong, the BDS springs are on my list, but with the CRV being my daily driver and I experience no clearance issues or rubbing on the street, they are just alittle ways down.

Who else is running large meats on their CRV?

edit* tires are 10.5" wide, not 12.5"...I type too fast sometimes lol

18% taller and 50% wider than stock, WOW. What did these tires do to your gas mileage? I imagine you aren't setting any records on your zero to 60 times.

When the offroad guys go to these extremes they change the gearing in their trucks.

My bet is that you've got most other CR-Vs' meats beat......

    NICE TRUCK
    Really like it.
I would like something like this, but definitely it won’t turn in those tight Athens corners

The rims offset...I don't remember, just the wheels you can order through Summit. Gas mileage really remained the same. This is my daily driver and I never get on it. It is harder to figure out since the speedo now records less mileage than it really is with the tires. Wheel bearings are fine and I can lock the wheels in a turn without rubbing. I actually put these tires on like a month after I registered here so its almost 2 years and running strong. I saw a pic of a white CRV with larger meats about 2 years ago but never found out who it was. I am very surprised that the drivetrain has handled everything without a problem.

Mileage wise, she just hit 50K last week. I bought my CRV after owning many Jeeps, so the typical tire hum associated with muds was nothing new. Actually this is how the tires went on...I had just put new tires on my last Jeep and it was falling apart. I had a junk set of Super Swampers and swapped them before trading in the YJ. This left me with the tires and a goofy idea. All in all on the pavement if there was no tire hum, you would never know the difference.

    Default Amazing!

    Amazing!
    I would say the CR-V wouldn't turn!
Can you post close pics of your V with the wheels at maximun turn?
And with say 4 adults, the back tyres don't get hurt?
    Amazing!

Oh, I typed too fast when posting...tires are really 10.5" wide, not 12.5". Sorry for the typo.
I have not yet had any passangers in the back, my max load has been my wife, dog and myself along with some suitcases. A sawzaw was my friend during the install.

As for the pic...wheel turned inward, or outward?
