All makes of cars have unique warnings when the batteries are getting "tired".
Some cars won't start (usually older cars)
Other cars will lose the radio presets.
Gen2 Vs will burn out headlamp bulbs.
Some Chrysler cars will peg the speedo needle when the car starts! (the electronics can't calibrate)
If you have a Scanguage or Garmin EcoRoute HD you can monitor the charging on your V as you drive. Hondas will "switch" between 12.5 V (running off a good battery) and 14.5 V (when charging). When the battery is weak, the alternator is constantly charging so the voltage is 14.5. (That's the state of my 2006 V with OE battery, yes it turns over a bit slow lately)
