My cruise control stopped working in my 2003 Pilot. The light on the push button switch does not turn on. I checked fuse 6 and it looks ok and the horn does work. There are no diagnostic lights on.
I had two repairs done a few weeks ago and this problem occurred sometime after that, although I just noticed this. One was the brake light switch was replaced as I could not get the gear shifter to come out of park. Also the driver's door lock actuator was replaced.
I have a feeling it might have something to do with that brake light switch replacement?

On a Gen 1 you can hold the brake pedal ON, but it won't prevent the illuminated CRUISE switch from turning on and off, but it will prevent the cruise from engaging when you push the button on the steering wheel.
You're saying the illuminated CRUISE push-button stays off all the time ?
Too bad you went to the dealer to get the other problem fixed. Those guys sometimes create more problems than they cure.... You sound like you could have fixed the initial problem yourself.
