How long have you had this CRV? Is it possible it was a salvage title or wrecked before because this sounds crazy to me..I thought the K series engine was bulletproof? I run mine up to the 8,000RPM redline all the time and with 140,000 miles thats all Ive done is changed the plugs, oil, and front o2 sensor.

Well, I guess higher compressed K series engine is better :p The O2 sensor came in but they sent me a wrong one... That's my luck! lol Returned the O2 sensor for the correct one. Hope it takes less than a week to get the right one cuz I'm really worrying my CR-V...

I know I'll get flamed here...but SOMETIMES buying OEM is the fastest and most reliable way to keep your Honda running, even if it does cost a few more bucks. I paid $230 for my OEM RSX o2, and $30 for a universal O2 for the CRV, but the CRV deal took weeks because the supplier had problems. Did I save $$ with the CRV? Yes. Did I save headaches and downtime with the RSX? Yes.

Yeah, I bought the OEM one (Denso) from a Honda dealer in CA but they sent me a wrong one... I know I can get an O2 sensor for $120 from Discount Auto Parts but looks like people have problems with non Denso products on K engines. And like u said, extra $100 is better than having headache. :p

So I finally got the O2 sensor after returning 2 wrong sensors that the dealer sent... It took me 2 mins after lifting the car. The result? omg... I can't believe that little sensor makes all these happen to the car... The CEL is gone and driving normal so far... Also I adjusted both thottle lines just for s&g. I still get this rattle passing 40 mph but the car doesn't stall anymore!!!

Thanks for following up to the Forum!

The rattle: Could it be a loose Cat heat shield (I know you were under there a few times) or a motor mount?
