On page 70 of the owner's manual it says it's in the front bumper. Yes, I downloaded the owner's manual before I even have the car!! AUGUST 1 I pick mine up.

The sensor is in front of the AC condenser opening in the bumper

Here's a pic of my '02's outside temp sensor. I happen to catch it in a pic of my fog light installation...

At first I thought you did the rearview mirror mod. I kind of forgot you're in CA - where Honda wanted you to know how cold it is outside in the winter! LOL

Thanks everyone, although my 3rd CR-V, this is the first I have had with the outside temp.
Being in this position, would it be affected by wind, and show a lower than actual temp?

Windchill has no effect on objects that don't sweat.

Its hard to convince my wife that we should shut off the fan in the livingroom when we're not there.

The wind will help it give a truer measurement of the outside temperature, sooner. That's why (in part) it takes a few minutes to tell the truth as the heat of the bumper and other parts cools down in the 'breeze'. There's been a lot of discussion recently about this topic. SEARCHSEARCH for the word 'temperature'.

First, read the Owner's Manual, then SEARCH, your Internet is STILL WAY faster than mine.

Not trying to be smart, but would fog (on a cold morning), in conjunction with the speed ie wind, have any effect on the sensor?
