    Default Failed emissions inspection ?

Hello, i have been looking on the net at some crvs that are honda certified and some of them on carfax say they have failed emission inspection at 11000 miles. Does this mean anything could be wrong? Also its interesting how many owners some 2003 crvs have had i found one that had 5 different owners and it was a 2003.

"Some of them have failed at 11,000"? This implies more than one. Can you elaborate?

How are you counting owners? Are you including dealer wholesale sales from one dealer to another? Brokers and dealers have no real issues selling a vehicle to make $100, even if they have not really accounted for their transportation and sale costs.

There was a TSB released by honda for the gen1 CRVs - something about emissions and being eligible for additional warranty from honda or something...
Highways and straightaways, offroads and open roads, no matter where I go I'll still be makin' the show, but my car keeps me humble in the concrete jungle, despite the wear and tear it seems to always get me there.

3 years and under you should not worry on a new V but since it is a 2003 that rule does not apply. what did you fail on spacifically
the MIL light, theengine light the codes? i would have the day before like alwaysclear, and delete the memory of the emmissions/obi reading, and be sure not to pay the inspection price if failed
I try not to get rooked at the inspection place when
    1. brakes are near wear lines,
    2 lights are old
    3 battery is old
    4 tires are worn
    5. and especially when the person has a bad day.

Here in NY, we have safety inspection and emissions inspection for every 12 months. Emissions inspection is not required for the vehicles that less than two model year old.
maybe the car did not pass safety inspection??

CR-V is exempt from dyno testing because you can not turn off the rears, and most shops don't have 4wd dynos.
