    Default Immobilizer bypass module

I'm mounting a remote starting device integrated in a car alarm.
My HR-V have the immobilizer and I'm looking dor a bypass module.
Did anyone knows one that is ok for the HR-V ?

I have found something on web but do not really if they are ok for the HR-V, only CR-V is mentionned.

Thanks for the private message mrtn !

I guess not, the immobilizer needs the key to be inside the plastic ring for the engine to start.
one solution is to unmount the plastig ring and lay inside a original key cutted , hiding both. But the car will not have anymore immobilizer protection.
The bypass modules maintain immobilizer but allows to mount a remote start system.

For LOTS of other info about Honda's immobilizer systems, look through all the descriptions in these TSB's. Especially in the 'other' section, and in the PDI sheets for various models. http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/tsb/

    Might provide some help.

Remote starters are contrary to Honda's 'plan' of how to get good mileage and make your Honda last way longer. Owner's manual says so.

First, read the Owner's Manual, then SEARCH, your Internet is STILL WAY faster than mine.

It does not surprise me but since I have modified heavily the car with a LPGfuel injection system I think that a remote start will not make things worst...
