Default TSB 03-068 (Door Lock Cylinders)

The NHTSA lists this as a problem for my '03 Element and a WWW search shows HondaSUV.com has (or used to have) the TSB - I just can't seem to find it here. Both door lock cylinders have a problem where the key is hard to get in and now, most times it doesn't turn.

Any one else having problems with lock cylinders?

My Element has same exact problem - what kind of car is it that you have to climb in the windows to enter - I can't even seem to really find out what
the problem is - faulty cylinders , bad key ???? or what caused it. I know
their is service bulletins on this - why won,t honda address it - seems absurd not to be able to use your key to open any door after only 70,000mi

There are TSB's here - might be listed under a different model.

Wow. Just ran into this problem. An 03 at 133,000 miles. The drivers side door lock cylinder seems worn and the key is very difficult to insert or turn the lock. The key seems to be good, as it works in the passenger door, rear, and ignition fine.

My solution was to "upgrade" and install a honda oem keyless entry. $130 ish from handa, and it was literally a 5 minute (or less) install.

A shot of aerosol Graphite and a 'massage' with the key sometimes clears up gummy innards.
