My name is Evert my nickname is; HR-V styler,
I am 32 years old, and i come from the Netherlands.
My passion is the Honda HR-V,
we drive our car for the 3 years now.

-Mij nickname in chrome on the back of the car
-Special painted headlight spoilers
-Special painted taillights in color of the car
-Air intake made in the hood

Whit this car I visit many shows and meetings, also festivals.
This car was a official showcar on the EUROPEAN TUNING SHOW in Amsterdam RAI ( Netherlands )

Yes, The ICE wold I change, I like to have a dvd player + monitor. :D

But I am thinking of a wide body kit, I saw one on the site of TSS Tuning ( I sall place a picture here )
But that is 'mayby'
because the wheels and tires are very expensive. :(

Unfortunately it is all original :oops: , the engine has driven a 60.000 kilometers. ( not miles )

Under the hood is everything original, but the final silencer isn't original, this one is handmade custombuild from stainless steel. :D

That's a nice unit, but have you seen the model up from that with the built in 3 inch lcd monitor? That could be cool to fit as well, it also incorporates the facility for a camera - handy when reversing :-)

:roll: This was on "Automaxx Summer Edition" a very big event with 170 car clubs. We had a big trailer on the stand whit 10.000 watt music power !!
So it was great to be there.

next weekend I have a meeting from 'Dutch Tuning Team' where I am one from the hundred members, where expected maybe over 1000 showcars.

Weekend after that; I have a 'Honda's Only' meeting.

Weekend after that; I have a "Honda Family Day" at the TT circuit Assen,
organiseerd by HONDA NEDERLAND.

Weekend after that; I have a "Japans Autosport Festival" also on de Dutch TT circuit.

I have there a paddock place by the most beautifuls Honda's of our country :D
It will be a long day, I must be there at; 8.00 hour to 18.00 hour.

How did you lower the suspension. For the wheel sizes u use do youget a bit of a uneasy ride. I fixed 215X65X16 tyres & I feel its a bit too uneasy for the suspension.

Any advice.

I have now lowered my HR-V whit springs ( coil overs ) from Jamex,
The HR-V is now 3,5 / 4 cm. lower than original.
My tyres are ; Kumho Ecsta 235 :!: - 45 - 17"
Wheels; MAK Thrust 7,5 x 17"
whit spacers / discs from 1,5 cm both sides.

It drives not 'really' comfortable, :? but it looks great :!: :D :lol:

We will keep the HR-V for another 2 of 3 years.
Whe have almost sell the HR-V , but whe can't do it. :oops:
Whe like our HR-V still to much for selling it,
and it is a great car ( not having any problems whit the HR-V )
It has now driving 70,000 km ( not miles )
So , we keep on tuning !! :D :D :D

Why ?
Because I had my HR-V for nearly 4 years,
and i wold like to have another car.
I can keep the HR-V not my entire live. :wink:

staat ook wel ergens in m'n topic.
De reden is; dat ik gewoon weer eens iets anders wou hebben,
ik had die HR-V al vanaf 2002 in m'n bezit.
Verder is de HR-V altijd een heel goede en fijne auto geweest

Is it a 1,5 V-Tec, or the 1,4 DSi? If it's a 1,4 you are going to find it a bit slow, but very economical. My parents have one with a few subtle mods:

Is the "Fit" and the "Jazz" the same? Why do companies persist in naming the same car differently. I dont see how the Fit would be better than the Jazz. :shock:

it's quite common for car companies to market the cars under different labels. japanese manufactures such as Suzuki and Isuzu, even Toyota have been rebranded to Geo in US for example. Dodge cars are sold as Chryslers in Europe - the marketing people together with psychologists and social scientists decide which name sells best.

there are other, ridiculous reasons as well:

Mitsubishi had made a nice 4x4 named Pajero. however, they did not notice that in Spanish the word means "wanker". so they had to spend some billions to rename it to Montero in Spain and Americas.
There's exactly the same case with a Buicks's late model named LaCrosse which means the same in French Canada, but i'm pretty sure this was a publicity trick from scratch.

Yes it does. I don't think it was faster but iirc it's a shade more economical at higher speeds. The fit is hte japanese name for it and JAzz seems to be the name the rest of the world got.

The Jazz is a very great car ( it's because it is also a Honda :wink: )
It's a bit slower than my old HR-V.
But plenty of room ( space ) in it.
I like the Jazz very much.
Now we have a 5 drs car,
the HR-V was a 3 drs car.

Btw ; My old HR-V is been sold after 2 months.

hi I have just become a member of hondasuv, i own a 1999 honda hrv, I wanted to find out more about this site( how it works) and how do I network. If you have information then please let me know where to get a front bullbar/grill for my hrv.
