I have never heard this in the Pilot, but I did have a similar noise a few years ago in my '97 Subaru Legacy. However, the noise in the Legacy would occur when the brake pedal was depressed in Park or while driving.
My local mechanic looked at it and said that it was just the "switch" that controls the "shift-lock" mechanism that was making noise and that it was no big deal. Eventually, the noise stopped, but the shift-lock still works fine.
The shift lock is what prevents the vehicle from being shifted out of park unless the brake pedal is depressed. As long as your shift-lock is functioning properly, I wouldn't be too concerned with it, but you may want to have someone take a look at it the next time your in for service, especially if you're still under warranty.

Normal. Shift lock solenoid.
