Hot Console Bin Interior

I've noticed that the interior of the front center console storage bin is always warm, and that items I keep in there are warm to the touch, even in warm weather. I'm not talking about after I leave it baking in a parking lot all day, I mean even if the Pilot is in the garage overnight the bin interior is warmer than all surrounding parts/materials.

During cooler weather, I thought that maybe the heat directed to rear seating area through the console vents was warming up the bin, but it happens even if AC is running in the summer.

I'm thinking it's the DC outlet for cell phone in there heating it up somehow. Anyone else experiencing this?

There is a light in the outlet.

It si amasing how much heat a littel bulb will make in a confined space.

As second source is the water lines to the rear heater.
