Hi there, I'm having a problem with the window in my Pilot, when I pull the switch so it automatically goes up, the window will roll up but then it immediately rolls half way back down. I don't understand the problem. Could it be some kind of problem in the ECU or maybe just a fuse or something? I really have no clue what could be causing it to do that. Any help would be appreciated.

Try resetting the Auto function of the window.

1) Turn on the engine.
2) Push down the driver's window button until the window is fully open.
3) Pull up the driver's window button until the window is fully close and hold it for two seconds or so.

After that, the Auto function should work. If it doesn't, it's time to take your Pilot to the dealer.

I have not experience this problem on my 2004 Pilot, but my Wife drives a 2004 Odyssey and it did this same thing on the drivers window when automatically rolling up. It went up and then came 1/4 to 1/2 way back down. I couldn't figure it out. I did the reset function mentioned above and so far the problem hasn't recurred.

The battery in my 03 Pilot went dead after an interior light was mistakenly left on and it sat in the garage for 2 days. A jumpstart from the friendly AAA guy got the car running again and the battery seems to have re-charged itself.

The only problem: the auto up/down window feature no longer worked. Weird.

I performed the steps as listed above, and presto, the window now operates as expected. Thanks for the remedy.

Another satisfied customer. :D

Welcome to HondaSUV.com.
I had the same problem in my "04 V after having the window visors (the kind that go inside the rubber molding; not glued to the outside of the door) installed. The window would hit the visor and activate the auto down safety feature that keeps little hands from getting caught. The shop installed track guides which keeps the window away from the visor and the problem was solved. Good luck and let us know how it works out.
