Well the rims are mostly for the look! And I am pretty pleased with the ones I got in my hands, they seems to look good under HR-V. Just like the car itself - keep it simple, it's HR-V. Everything else follows pretty much the same guideline with my 4*4.
What did you hade in mind with the brakes? The car is still little under construction..., and it always will!
BTW, I like yours HR-V too...

Very nice HR-V! I see You have the same car-audio as I :) Sony 4000RV ? Well not only the "RV" from the name of the audio fits to Honda - the colours also! Nice alloyweels:)
thanks, what i meant about the brakes is that when you install large diameter rims then you can increase the diameter of the brake discs as well. the original ones fit exactly inside 15" wheels.

Okey, maybe - maybe not. Better brakes doesn't really give me any kicks. Beside my winter wheels are 205-15-65, so that's it.
...what about fixing your car at Tallinn? I mean it's so close to take a visit there. What kind of jobs should one do there - you know finland prices...
well, my uncle used to bring his Colt to Tallinn for servicing and fillups :D
i have warranty left on my V so i take it to Veho. a regular service with oil change usually costs around €90. i'll check the exact prices when i get to the office on monday.

It desperately needs lowering now, whey too much gap in the arches. Looking good though.

Well HR-V LOW-RIDER? If so, it needs a new paint! Grafitti? Hmmm that would be the only one Honda like this ine the world! Ben-UK is right the holes are too big. I like HR-V witch bigger tires, but Your's, Ryg, are nice :)

I'm totally against the lowering when tuning the HR-V! Somebody else has also mention me about "bring it down", ...hey c'moon! HR-V ain't a jeep, but it's still a SUV - and not a track car!
From my gallery you can see a pic my car before 4*4. That was a car with horizontal aspect to driving(Civic)!

Agree totally, a fine looking car.
RYG-525, no problem, some views are just different to others and I respect that you acknowledge this, not many do!
Hey RYG-525
how many inches are your rims and whats you tire size?

At the moment my Hervie is happy with 225 - 18 - 40. I would have taken 225 - 18 - 50, but it wasn't just available size at the time. But I'm happy with the steady feeling of car right now.
Though when living in a land of Santa, in winter I'm driving with 205 - 15 - 65. But the grip will be awesome when 4*4 is accelerating with studs!
the propaganda for changing to studless tyres has not gotten you? :)
i have gislaved nord frost I right now, one season of lifetime left, i'm not sure if i'm ready to go studless yet - the winters tend to be colder and snowier every year.

The stock tire size of the HR-V is about 25.7" in Diameter, you've put a tire that has 25.1", the neareset to the stock tire is 225 45/18 which has a Diameter of 26" or you have to put 235 40/18 which has a Diameter of 25.4.
With your tire you have a 2.3% offset, when your spedometer shows 60 you going 58.6!
i'm pretty sure 235 won't fit with the stock wheel offset.

Well first about the studeless wintertyres. I had ones in my Civic, and they where very good when it comes to grip and quite noise. So no complaining about those. I had NOKIA Hakkapeliitta Q:s, which tend to be best of a league. Only problem where with the rims, they got very poor condition at winters. Yep I drove with same tires all year round - many do it in here Finland. The salt at roads is the enemy!
And I don't know which fit or not, but the authorities of the law aren't so please about my 225 tires. They come about 2 cm out of the cars side, and that is illegal here in the land of order! BUT I ALREADY LOOK AS A PIMP INSIDE MY BLACK 4*4, SO IT DON'T REALLY MATTER - OR DOES IT?!
