Hi everyone.

I am a new proud owner of a 04 Silver Pilot. I love this car. One thing that bugs me is that my Pilot is gulping gas like crazy. I getting about 14-15 mpg. (currently 1,600 miles). I hope it gets better. Has anyone seen this with their Pilot too?

I'm also getting approx 15+ mpg....800 miles on the odometer. Hopefully once the engine has broken in a little better milage will increase.

I get 225 miles per tank usually. I do notice the guage seems to move rather quickly..how many gallons do our tanks hold? If it's 14 gallons, then I'm getting 16mpg. If it's more, then I'm not doing well..but I do use the A/C constantly on 71°.

The fuel tank is listed as 19.3 gallon capacity.
Picked up my Pilot on 6/9 w/ full tank; have driven combo of Hwy/local streets, filled up tonight 6/17 after 350 miles and at the pump cut off click, it took 16.3 gallons and fuel gauge register Full. So far so good but only time will tell.
Hope your mileage increases but I think as with any car we've got to get some Hwy driving in to increase mpg's.

I used to drive only local when I went to work (9 miles from my house) and was getting around 16 to 17 mpg. I now drive on freeway 2/3 of the way and still getting about the same. :( I'm thinking about doing a tune-up even though it's not time to do yet. I usually get about 260 miles per tank right before I see the yellow warning light.
