car seat tether in 98 center of rear seat?

I have a '98 CR-V and have installed the tether anchor points for the driver side and passenger side in the rear seat, but I'd prefer to put the car seat in the center. Anyone know if there is an anchor point for the middle seat? I'd prefer to not pull the interior apart looking for one if there
isn't one hiding up there.

Unfortunately, I don't think Honda made a provision for a center tether until the 2001 model year.

I have little experience with child seats, but is it possible to put the seat in the middle and run two tethers, one to each anchor point? I think the net effect should be the same as running one up to the middle.
