The elusive Tango Red! Note how the pic is blurry because they are so rare the poster had to snap the pic with but a moment's notice!
:)
This is killing me. If I sell the truck and we buy an 08 in Tango Red - we will have 5 red vehicles with 3 of them being red Honda's!

Not only that, but how many people can say they have one of each generation of CR-Vs... and all in red?

The outside US version of red looks glossy, WET, and deep. The one in the US doesn't look like that; it looks like it's getting close to purple.

Either way you look at it...It is great looking! I wish the graphite gray was offered in the US.
Nah, I think all these Reds are the same; just different names for different regions. I've got the new Red Pearl too.

It's interesting that Tango Red is considered to be rare, because I've seen more Tango Reds on the road than any other color, and the last time I was at the dealership, there were three sitting there.
Where are you located?

These are the colours available in France.
again same colours but different names......
This red looks different from the "New Red Pearl" available in India.

You can bet that Tango Red, Ruby Red, New Pearl Red, etc, are all the same color. Honda's not going to risk confusion and raise costs by producing slightly different shades of red (or any color) in the same model year. And you can't compare colors from photos, let alone after transferring to computer. There are too many differences in lighting when pics are taken, not to mention the different ways colors are rendered by photo processing, whether film or digital (and digital cameras process color internally as well as with computer software). Honda's just changing color names from one country to another. What does 'tango' have to do with red? And where did they get 'borrego' for beige? From Borrego Springs, CA? Because it's in the desert, as an alternative to desert beige? I think they're just running out of unique color descriptions-just like all the good car names have been taken.
I'd be interested to know if any other interior colors are available in other countries. Here in the US we've got black, grey, and ivory. I'm sure they considered additional colors, and many of us would love a wider selection, but limiting fabric and paint colors, and well as option packages, helps keep Honda's costs (and sticker price) down.
We get only leather here, no fabric; and the only interiors I've seen are cream/beige or whatever you wanna call it. Probably the Silver and white body paints get black interiors?
AMK
Here it doesn't matter whether you get leather or cloth-colors are the same. White gets gray interior. Black and silver are the only two where you get a choice. With black you can get ivory (beige) or black interior. Silver gets black or gray. My wife wanted gray interior so we decided on silver.
