Hi, I have owned my 07 CR-V for 5 months now, and i notice Excessive Seat Wear on both driver side and passanger side seat, anyone has the same problem?

I contacted my dealer, they said they can replace it under warranty.

(Sorry for the typo supposed to be seat wear, not sweat)

Maybe "seat" wear? As in noticeable wear and tear on the seat cushions?

I knew it was a typo. I just don't understand how the seats can be worn that fast... Maybe this guy drags himself in and out of cars. I've seen it a lot in cars I've detailed.

The worst is when a customer tried to blame me for the scratches on her roof, and then proceeded to slide her purse off of the roof which had metal feet. DUH!

He also mentions it in another thread he started.

Racoon is onto it. I bet it's seat wear.

Gee, thanks.

We looked at the scratch, there were multiple all going in the same direction. She later admitted to puting things on roof quite often while unloading her car. This was just the first time the car had a bath in a REALLY long time. :(

Yeah, but "sweat wear" is a much more interesting concern...

Don't get me started on this. I have scratches on my roof. How? My wife's GD umbrella. :x Not the umbrella's fault.

Sorry for the typo, I will take pictures and post them with the seats worn out mostly the part next to the door.

Not to be rude but are you large? When I get out, I get out. I don't drag myself across the seat...

Oh oh. I find myself dragging. I am short, so I sort drag myself accross until my left foot touches the ground. I see trouble ahead!!! So would treating the leather help preserve my seats?

Sometimes this can be caused by said "treatment". If the dealer used the wrong kind of cleaner/protectant on the seats to try and make them look better, it could have softened the material and made it more suceptible to wear.
