Hey there,

A couple more pics of he new V; lined my EX-L beside my mom's LX for a few quick pics.

I ordered the car with the wood trim kit but it is on back order; I will be having it installed once it comes in. I'm kind of not sure I want it now...(after fighting with my wife over it :?) Anyone else have the trim kit installed? Any pics?

Nice pics. Kinda reminds me of the in-laws who have two 2006 V's!

Thanks for the pictures :)

The wood kit is def. worth it IMHO. There is a girl member here that posted pictures of their kit about 2 weeks ago. Search and you shall find!

"Having it installed"??? You should do it yourself. It's sticky stuff on fake wood :D.

BTW, I like your CR-V much better! :)

I would love to get my hands on the 2007 Green Tea Metallic with the 17" steel wheels, put my rims on there, full tint and then it would be perfect.

Great pictures!

and if you did that, you'd never have to worry about driving "nekkid!" :o

The lucky owners who have bought 2007's never have to worry about "nekkid" spare tires not covered.

One thing that has always bothered me. If Honda is going to go through the engineering effort to put slots for fog lights in the grill, why not just put them in there at the factory? Both the CR-V's in the picture have the slotted holes for them, but they are not there. I remember a Car & Driver article sometime ago where the author was commenting on all the plastic covers on or near the dash for things that the specific model didn't have. Gave the impression of cheapness. (The CR-V's pictures are not cheap)

Another accessory both the CR-V's pictured are missing is a HondaSUV sticker. I can help with that.

Bing has a fresh supply of stickers from me by now. Send him a private email if you don't get yours in the next several days.

Hi Mdell,

The wood grain kit is just peel and stick. I did it myself in about 10 minutes. Here are a few pic. Congrats on your new V's.

Well...two in the family so to speak. The green one is my mom's; she has had it since Nov' 06. I'd driven it a few times and decided to get one after shopping for a car myself this past month. My wife had driven it a few times too...kinda like an extended test drive on both our parts which helped make the decision easier.

When I was "preshopping" the options on the car I decided on the wood trim after seeing it in another demonstrator at the dealership...I had no idea it was a "peel and stick" operation :) It wasn't until after I had ordered the car (and options) that I realized exactly how it was installed. I was checking out handa.com and looked at the wood trim package...and it looked just like a big sheet of stickers. If only fog lights installed that easy.

Yeah, I think I'm still going to go ahead with it...it's just that I'm afraid I'll regret sticking it on. Just flip flopping because I like the interior as it is too.

I agree with you about the fog lights; and the dash covers for that matter too. I remeber when I first got in my mom's LX I wondered what options were missing that would fill the space on the cosole between the re-circulator and the rear/mirror defrosters...now that I have my EX-L I'm still wondering why they left that space there.
