Hey

I think we all wait for the day when someone makes Alteza lights for the HR-V, but what if we don't have to wait? What if we could just install other cars tail lights and fit it on. It's been a while I’ve been checking out the Punto (http://www.autotintdesign.com/Tail%20Lights/Fiat/PUN93.htm) tail lights and they don’t seem such a bad idea but I don't know if it's possible to fit them with some adjustments, that’s why I ask for your help, knowledge is good.

Well they say nothing is impossible, its just harder than other, but why not try if it looks good, how about supra lights they look good too.

Well you could make anything fit with fibreglass. I'm sure someone will produce them soon.

Your right that someone will produce them sooner or later but no1 knows when, i dont see it coming soon enogh, i mean the HR-V is not allot around in modifyers lists and nore in the accessories lists, it will take time to recognize it as a mod car

the Punto taillights remind me of the lights at the drag strip :)

They do look like drag strip light maybe when i fit them on i could use the car as drag lights at the street racing areas here in Nicosia CY :D

no i think you'll find that wankel is the name of the rotary engine in the mazda Rx7 and rx8. Wankel was the name of the chap who designed it, consider this, the 1.3 wankel in the new rx8 is more powerful than a 2.5V6 normal engine ... i'd love to see the insurance figures if you just told them your car was a 1.3 :)

no its not referring to the mazda rotary engines or anything like that...

the comment was probably directed at the girls in the pic and I think wankel was meant to be like 'hot damn!'.....i guess its the corny way of saying it

Ok so wankel is the name of the engine, how can it be refered to chicks, its not name that represents something, big or amazing! And anyway they are not that hot, skinny, bitchy and dumb!

Hey !

I just found the instructions here!! Amazing..!

http://www.hondasuv.com/main2/viewtopic.php?t=2902

You'll find them near the bottom of the page !

They go something like this
"And dont forget to pull the material down first. Just at the bottom of the knob grab it and yank it downwards... then it will make sense.."

I really couldn't have put it better myself !

Its classed as a 2.6.

Explanation. there are two 654cc rotors. thats a 1.3 engine

BUT induction happens at the same time as exhaust, unlike a four stroke (normal engine) that does it alternately so the 1.3 is classed as doubled.

In the UK it's in insurance group 15/16 depending on power model
