Hi shark2927,
Got mine as part of the deal when I bought my V from KM. I think it was supposed to be worth about S$1,500 (V70 package). When I collected the car, it was already done.

Hi shark2927
Go for Huper optik films...much cheaper...I got mine about $990 after 10% discount. The films are said to be equally good with 10 years warranty. V-Kool is 7 years. The films from what I hear are from the same supplier. Huper optik is from a german company.
When you decided...and you are abiding for the LTA compliant... make sure they write in the invoice..My Two cents worth advices

Where is the installer located?
Hi All,
Does installing the tinted glass, do help in cooling down? What I know is that with those tinted glass, it still gets hot when you go in and will only cool down you car much faster?
V-Kool premier package, i was quoted is about $1050, while coolNlite about $580, both said they are LTA compliance. Sometimes I wonder is it worth it as basically the CRV aircon is able to coold down the car interior pretty fast already. So just need to bare with the heat when i get into the car.
My view, with the money I rather install some quanlity stereo. At least I can take my stereo once I change my car unlike the tinted glass.
Hi All,
You can try my old method. I used to do this on my old Lancer with dark visor installed on all the doors and wind down the window to leave a small gap if I park under the direct hot sun on a prolong period.
This is my cheap Manual Cool.
I did this on my old car when parking in a known safe place. Try at your own risk.

Hi All
The films really protect the interiors (Dashboard, etc). To do the simple demonstration, put your hand under the car with the installed film and compare with the car without it. You can tell the differences.
Installed films are general to protect and prolong your dashboard and in some cases audio components.
For me films are worthwhile investment.
