Hello, this is my first visit to the forum and I wanted to ask about buying a crv. My wife and I have decided that we want to get a 07 2WD EX. My question is do you think it would be possible to pay sticker price but get the accessories free?
We have no trade in and our own financing which are huge +s for the dealer. The total according to the honda website of accessories that we want is $1791. Do you think its possible to get this from a dealer? or if not what price should we shoot for?
We live in FL if that helps at all.
Thanks!

How is no trade in and your own financing both pluses for the dealer?
The dealer makes money on the trade by offering you wholesale cost and reselling it at retail and the dealer makes money when they finance it for you.
For starters, look at all of the other threads on how much people are paying for their 07 CR-V's.
List price on the accessories and dealer cost are 2 completely different things.

I admit im not a car buying expert, I just thought that they did not like trade ins because they have to take on that inventory and sell it, especially when its not a model they typically sell. I also thought that your own financing is a plus because youre already approved.

another way you could save a lot of money is DON'T BUY ACCESSORIES FROM THE DEALER when you buy the car!!!
buy them from somewhere else and install it yourself....you will save a LOT of money :D

When I got mine in Feb they said I could have the price of the car with the dealer added accessories thrown in. There was the splash guards, tire locks and pen striping (they really went all out for me ;) )

Of the ones you listed, I think the fog lights would require the most work. You have to take the entire front ?bumper? off to put them in. The roof rack is the easiest to install - but at the moment your only choice is a Honda one. The hitch and the mirror should be simple too.
You can go to www.handa-accessories.com, they have installation manuals so you can see for yourself if you can do it or not.

When you say sticker, are you indicating the price the dealer is asking for or MSRP? There typically are about 2k difference between invoice cost and MSRP in general. As long as you are not getting amodel with Navigation, you could typically negotiate down to $1k below MSRP. Furthermore, if you are a Costco member, you could typically get it for about $800 over invoice by going through Costco purchasing program. Most likely, cost of $1791 (invoice most likely is about $1200 or so). You might be able to negotiate to that account by paying MSRP or if not, for couple hundreds more than MSRP. Roof rack is easy, I did it in 20 minutes. Fog light, I had my dealer do it for about $400 out the door..

Please don't buy the accessories from the dealer. Buy them elsewhere and install them yourself, it really isn't that hard :)
I doubt that they will throw in almost $2000 worth of accessories even if you pay MSRP.
