What's the size of your wheels and tires? They look pretty cool.
Also, is your spare tire cover the G1 tire cover?
blucrve
04-17-2004, 01:38 PM
Hey bumpzter, you are correct :D , actually, I got them off ebay when they were selling the USS Enterprise for parts  , just kidding.
Chaklee, Thanks. They are 17x7 rims and the tires are 215 50/17 Hankook Ventus tires, they are almost the same diameter as the OEM rim/tire, actually my new wheels are about 5-10 mm larger in diameter so my speedometer is only off by maybe 2-3 mph. Yes the spare tire cover are from the 1st Gen. :D

No, no, no, no, NO! Your profile says Chicago, but those pics look like the far NW suburbs. Like maybe Schaumburg or Hanover Park.
C'mon! Where you really from?
blucrve
04-17-2004, 05:03 PM
Well, I only said Chicago because it is the more well known city in Illinois, I'm actually in Plainfield which is not that well known, near Naperville.

P.S. When I said Big K , I did not mean K-mart  just kidding.

Isn't it what we Noypi's are good for, our individuality and uniqueness or have you forgotten about that. :)

pare . . . don't get me wrong. i'm all about filipino pride, but , where i live (Northern California - SF Bay Area) where there's a almost a half-million of us, to NOT have everyone notice your V is a GOOD thing. your V says to me, and, especially to another Pinoy (gangbangers, especially) that you've got some nice stuff in your V for someone to steal. you know what i mean. for example, back home, you can't even leave flowers at your relatives gravesite without someone stealing the flowers (probably the florist) and selling them back.

My brother bought it for me and sent it. I just wish there were more choices, not that I don't like the one I have now, but I 'd prefer the real Altezza taillamps. :)

Really? My brother went to Banawe and went to a few stores and they told him that my type taillamps so far are the only ones in the Philippine market. If you see those Altezza lamps, do you mind taking a picture for me so I can show it to my brother. Thanks! :)

Taillamps are gone, the wifes been nagging me to remove it, so I did it. She did not get used to it as I did, well back to the drawing board on looking for new taillamps.

Very funny :D , you wouldn't happen to have any need for a burner for your barbecue grille, summer is here, I'll ship you the taillamp burners for free. :D -just kidding. Well the taillamps cost me about $150, that's down the drain.

Hell, blu, what's a hundred and fifty bucks between friends. Bet you and I have wasted a lot more than that on our wheels, right?
I used to go to a lot of motorcycling rallies. ALWAYS ended up buying something. Most of which I didn't need. When my wife saw something new and asked about it, I usually said that I won it as a door prize.
