View Full Version : Picked up our CRV EX-L Nav last night Portland, Oregon

I have got to say that this was the best buying experience that we have had when buying a new car. Everything was done by Internet until we went to pick up the CRV and pay for it . I dealt with a gal by the name of Karen Voss at Ron Tonkin Honda in Portland, Oregon. She was great! She gave me a deal that no one else in Portland could touch. There were no CRV's around that matched what we wanted so she had one built for us. From the day I told her what we wanted it was less than two weeks til the car was setting on her lot. She had two accessories added the next day and we picked it up that night. She spent a ton of time with us going over the operation of the car and the navigation system (which I love). Even the sales manager was nice to deal with. He even agreed to let me do more research on the extended warranty and agreed to sell the Honda Care plan at his cost. I am not saying that I would go in unprepared but if you have your act together they will not play games with you.

I talked to or e-mailed every Honda dealer in the metro area. Ron Tonkin Honda was by far the cheapest and easiest to deal with. E-mail Karen Voss (KarenVoss@dealerdelivery.com) at Ron Tonkin. She is great to deal with and will not play games with you. We got ours for $500 over invoice (EX-L with nav). That was the first price that I offered figuring that we would have to go up from there however Karen took the first offer. The other dealers best offer was only $150 under MSRP due to the demand.
