Read in the paper today that the CRV type r will be coming to the Uk.

Article in the News of the World today so will forward detail later

looks like found my next car!!

Thanks. Rub it in some more. First, we in the US don't get the diesel and you know we won't get a Type R either.

I say that there is a 2% chance that they actually produce a CRV Type R. It goes against everything that Type R represents. :?

Well, the CR-V "type R" sounds unlikely to me too, but perhaps it will just be a manual CR-V that features low profile tires, lowered suspension and the american 2.4l engine?

At least with European's can't buy a CR-V with that 2.4l engine at present... but anyway, it sounds doubtful (I agree).

no europe will not be able to buty a 2.4l crv,
honda have sayed will have ever the 2l type r civic engine or 2.2l s2000 engine,

No way there is going to be a CRV Type R???
what the type r stand for then???

From what the picture show it look same just stight diffrent and all will come with the honda aftermarket bodykit offered already, And the other thing is 19" or 20" wheels as standard

please note that the Mugen CR-V is all show no go. Type R means Racing - GO :P

Nope thats not the case. I was just quoting Mr. Wilby that such a 3rd gen already exists.
