The front seat armrests are too short and too narrow.
Even my wife complained about them.
If possible I'd like to swap them out for something a bit meatier.
...and why does the LX front console have lever to swing it down? It doesn't give you any more space at all!!! I can see it now....a Big Gulp full of Mountain Dew, or Fruit Punch....and someone hits that lever.
Splash....not cool.
The flip down tray you get is inherited from the 1st generation CR-V. The idea behind the design is to allow passengers to climb to the back seats easily.
IMO, I think Honda, overtime, realized that the "general" public doesn't really behave like those in Japan where they spend time lounging or sleeping in vehicles. Sure, we'll take a snooze here and there but if we're camping, we'll be outside the vehicle, not inside.
Sooooo...if you ask women how they like the flip down console tray, most will say they like it because it allows a place to put purses. As a solution, you may want to wait for the wide console to be released soon to replace the short one you currently have.

Right on the dot. My girlfriend loves it for that reason.

BTW Stilwel, love your V. I have a black LX too but getting new rims is too expensive right now. I'll definitely consider the rear spoiler though, looks great!

Thanks.
All I've done so far is install the roof-rack and the cargo tray.
I have the EX wheels in my garage and need to pony up and take the thing in to the dealer to get them installed.
The rear spoiler is something I'm shopping around for. Not sure if I'm up to installing it myself though! Not too keen on taking a drill to my V!!
