Comments: I saw your product on Speed Channel's TunerTransformation and was wondering if you offer a big brake kit that would fit a 2002 Honda CRV with 17" rims? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great day! Paul Arbouw

Paul,

we can custom make a kit for this vehicle at $2850.00 USD plus freight. It would include 13.0" rotors, hats, brackets, 4 piston AP Racing calipers, stainless steel brake lines, DOT 5.1 performance brake fluid, street performance Ferodo DS2500 brake pads and all hardware required to mount the kit. You can contact me at 800-636-0854 to discuss this option further,

Anyone interested in seeing how low we can get the price with a group buy?

even with a group buy i still think it would be out of the price range for most dont you think?

It's actually a pretty good price for all 4 brakes, Rotora's run $1500,- just for the front and doesn't have a rear application yet.

That quote did not say front and rear. That is front only.

you might try www.brakezone.com. They will custom make anything. They quoted me $1300 ballpark(front) for the better of the Wilwood 4 pot calipers and 13 inch rotors with lines.

Does Rotara have a CR-V specific application?

Not that I don't think 4 piston calipers and 13" rotors is'nt cool. ;)

Please remember that, high performance pads, slotted rotor and high performance brake fluids are more likely enough for anyone's needs. The right combination of these 3 items will keep your forehead glued to your steering wheel if this is what you're looking for.

Ryan, Rotora has an application for both the civic si and the RSX. I asked them is either would fit the CRV. They quoted the price and said to call to discuss the application.

I also specifically asked KVR for all 4 corners. To my best knowledge, that quote is to replace front and rear brakes.

The si and rsx used different brake components than the crv. I have not cross referenced part #s on the 04 5 lug si. I doubt the piston sizes are the same which means an Rsx or si kit won't be proplerly balanced on a CR-V.

The rear has the drum parking brake. What is KVR doing about that.

Good point; have not discussed that with them. Wanted to see first if there was interest in a groupbuy to have some leverage.
