We picked up our 2007 V EX AWD Whistler Sivver Metallic at the beginning of November. It was built in Japan and has a born on date of 9/06.
I test drove and researched the RAV4 and the CR-V before making my decision. I would like to thank those who post here as it was a great help in making my decision.
Now my observations:
I have 1500 miles on the vehicle in 6 weeks. I live in Northern Wisconsin with cold and snow. I have had No Problems with our V.
1) Driving on snow the vehicle is sure footed no slippage with acceleration. My civic the front wheels lose traction at times no traction problems with the V.
2)Mileage is 22 around town 25.4 mixed city and highway. Took an interstate trip using cruise and got 32.9MPG. Yes Iam light on the gas pedal. These figures are calculated the onboard computer agrees with my calculations within .5MPG.
3)I have 35PSI in the tires.
4)The vehicle is quiet and smooth
5)The stereo has good sound while playing MP3s and my iPod.
6)Cabin seems roomier than the RAV
7)Added Cargo tray and Winter floor mats my only accessories so far.
I have nothing but good things to say about this vehicle and thanks again to those of you who post at this site.

Thanks for the notes on the car and sharing the picture.

If I use a light foot and don't go above 65MPH, I get 32-33MPG as well. The onboard computer is very helpful as I made sure the calculations were correct. It's good to hear you're getting the same results.
