Since people are posting that they already purchased CR-V with Navigation. Are there anybody that's interested in sharing what they paid for? Thank you.

I got mine in the Seattle, WA area for $28,595 ($28K base price + $595 destination charges) which is also MSRP locally. Should get it around the end of December as is it on a ship from Japan sailing the blue Pacific right now. Dealer did not add any additional markup on the sticker since it was a rollout release. Best I have been able to determine, that is making them about $1,100 profit on the deal.

Thank you for the information. I guess, MSRP might be the best price for the Navigation unit for the first few month. I was hoping you'd say that you got that for less so that I could negotiate for better. I am seeing the range of MSRP to 2k markup.
I'm in the same situation as jcparr. I'm also in the Seattle area waiting for the ship to come in and got the same price. The dealers are clearing more than $1,100 though. Their invoice price is $25,887, but they get a 3% factory holdback from Honda which reduces their cost to $25,029. That makes their profit about $2970. or about 12% which is a pretty good margin for any business. Price we pay for being first on our block.

talking about the new 2007 CR-V. The top model Executive with automatic transmission, sunroof, xenon lights + + + and 2.0 liter enginge.
That's the price here in Norway, 75.000 $..............

Thanks. Since we (US) doesn't have such an option as Norway do, there isn't much to worry about having to pay 75k. However, what you are describing sounds more like an Acura RDX which you can get in the states for about 40k. I've noticed that in Europe and Asia, they don't use Acura name, instead, they just call it Honda.

I just got my CR-V EX-L with Nav on Tuesday. As far as pricing I payed MSRP (sticker). I have never payed sticker before in my life, however, right now the demand is very high and the supply is very very low. So I caved in.
Just so you know the MSRP is $28,000 + $595 for destination.
The invoice is $25,887 + $595 for destination.
The pricer the dealer is paying is $25,029 + $595 for destination.
A lot of people don't know this but the dealer pays less than invoice. The factory offers the dealer a holdback. The factory charges the dealer invoice then once the dealer sells the car the factory gives the dealer some cash back. The amount varies by manufacturer, but for Honda it is 3% of MSRP.
If you pay invoice the dealer makes a 3.3% profit = $857
If you pay MSRP the dealer makes a 11.6% profit = $2,971
Typically a fair price to pay is 3-5% profit for the car. I have always paid invoice for my cars. However, when people are willing to pay MSRP, you only have two options: wait until the supply increases and price drops or pay MSRP.
Hope this helps

The CR-V with Nav has started to roll out in New England. www.berlincity.com is selling it for $1,100 off sticker. So not too bad a price.

Here it is ! The red circle has the price in NOK. To get it in US$ divide it by app. 6,2.
I'm thinking about a 2.0 elegance with the automatic tranny.
If you want the car with metallic paint it's another 800 $ and then they add 500$ for "preparation"...

Finally picked up my Glacier Blue Metallic AWD EX-L with Navigation.
I got it for $28,195 which is $400 below MSRP. Not that bad.

Seacoastguy, Thanks. If you are planning on buying you should negotiate now. My dealer was trying very hard to sell right before X-mas here in Bay Area (CA). However, it is now an end of the year rush, so most of the dealers are trying to sell much as they got to put it into their 2006 revenue. Too late, but I just got a call telling me that they would sell for $27,995 if I take it before the year ends.
