I received a call today from my service manager stating there was a minor problem with the TPMS system on the 2007 CR-V's, and I needed to bring it in for a 20 minute repair. Have any of the new '07 owners received this call? :?

I did not get a call from the dealer but my tpms light went on the 2nd day I had it. I have had my 2007 cr-v for a week and I just love it. I will call the dealer to see what they have hear about the tpms.
Honda has issued a note to dealers advising about 2007 CR-V TPMS Codes 32, 34, 36, 38, & 41 after PDI.
Basically, the dealer prep person has to follow specific instructions setting up your CR-V for customer delivery. If that wasn't done correctly, the light will go off and they'd need to reset it. If the error persists, they'd need to change the sensor.
If your 2007 Honda CR-V is experiencing this issue, best thing to do is bring it back to the dealership for a check up!

Yup, that's the case with my '07 as well.
Apparently, the 'Made in Japan' CR-V's are shipped to the US with the TPMS sensor in a 'ship mode'. The sensor needs to be enabled before use.
My dealer knew nothing of this requirement until early today. They sold 4 '07 CR-V's since Saturday and all 4 were back with TPMS sensor issues. The service manager called me about 1115 this morning and told me about the development.
I swung back to the dealer and got the programming done as an 'oh, by the way'.
The service manager also tucked a $50.00 gift certificate to "The Ground Round' into my center console. What a nice way to say 'sorry we missed this.'
Overall, I am very pleased with the dealership, the service department and most importantly the CR-V!

That would be awesome if I got a gift like that. Doubt it will happen, since all they gave me when I bought the car was a couple of $2 keychains. You would have thought I was getting a Rolex, the way the sales mgr made such a big deal presenting me with those keychains! :?

I paid $20K for my two keychains last year, but I got a FREE Honda CR-V with them! :D

Here's the Honda Service News with a note about a software update for TMPS; bottom right, page 1

Wow, that's cool info! I've never seen the actual TPMS core and it is huge compared to regular valves.
Thanks for sharing.

As expected, I did not get anything from the dealer today...not even a "Sorry"! I did complain to my salesman about how dirty the interior was when I picked up the car and they tried to do a 5-minute cleanup job. After I pointed out they missed the dirtiest spot of all, had to drive back to the cleanup area and wait on them to do a 30-second cleanup! Oh well, guess they messed up their chance for a top rating on the survey! :x
