Both of thsoe pictures are the panorama roof my friend, they couldn't just install one large piece of glass. If it rolled over it would be disasterous.

That beam in the middle is a reinforcement, you can't see it in the top picture because they just blacked it out :) They did that so it LOOKS like one large piece of glass from the outside.

Yes, OSX we did get screwed. But I bet that option is over a grand in the european market. Something us Americans wouldn't be willing to pay. Americans typically don't like expensive small cars....

It's the same roof. The Civic has a very similar option. I would have preferred a big glass roof like the one you can find on Peugeot SW models.

The NA version has a "classical" opening glass roof (just in front).

I saw this, they are thinking of bringing this over to America as a Saturn. I don't know, that REALLY doesn't look like a good idea... :?:

Any of you fellow Texans, Floridians and other Sunshine State folk get the heebie jeebies when you saw that Astra windshield? Ouch, talk about a hot ride in the summertime  .

I think it's just plain ugly. I would never buy one like that myself.

CRV with the Pano. roof or the Opel? I think the Opel looks good :)

I think they are both nice ideas. The Opel looks good and the idea of driving "convertible" like is cool. I just know that for 250 days a year in Texas, that's gonna be an oven. YOu'd have to wear SPF 45 just to drive!
