I went to get my sister's CRV oil changed and Brake pads fixed today... got raped $214 for that. but anyway, i went to check out the new CRV and OMG were they HOT!!!

overall same size as the current 06 but much sleeker and very WELL refined. it could easily pass in as an Acura. the car is definately an upgrade from the current model. i took several pictures with the 06 and 07 side by side i was fortunate enough to have them together. my vote is that it looks so much better in person than in the pictures, I fvcking love the glacier blue metallic CRV. i also took pictures of the 07 element and the element SC, which i dare say is awesome looking too. pictures are taken with my slvr, so pardon the quality.

From the photos, the '07 certainly doesn't look any shorter in length or lower to the ground than the Gen2 model. I had this assumption that the '07 looked stubbier for some reason. It's an illusion in the pics, I guess. This sure reminds me of a little Pacifica. Thanks for sharing the photos!

seeing them next to one another, they really dont look THAT much different, if the C pillar was not curved, theyd look like twins almost.?

I also went to my local Honda dealership today and I couldn't help but feel a great sense of satisfaction in buying the 2006.

I'm one the "targets" Honda is hoping will buy the CR-V and I can tell you right now I wouldn't be caught dead driving it. I couldn't get over how much it looked like a Minivan. To the naked eye, the rear cargo area looks smaller. There's no way my 6' tall husband would even think about trying to take a trip in this thing.

I hate where they've put the gear shift. Appearance means a ton to me...I believe I'll be holding on to my 2006 for quite some time.

how do you know that, do you work for them? there's no sign of location except the "chucks" sign and the "pohanka" sign. unless you work for pohanka, i dunno how you could've possibly guessed that.

Check my sig. It says "Washington, DC".
I've been there several times and i simply recognized the surrounding buildings. The license frames on the CRVs just confirmed it.

Edit:
I went there and had the chance to check out a Borrego Beige EX-L with ivory interior. Not my favorite color but it was the only one on the lot that was un-locked.

I don't know what it is about the internet pictures but these '07s are much better in person.

I know that place ... used to live in Fort Washington/Oxon Hill, MD area. I don't see any difference as far as size on the 2 V's except the body style.
